The 10-Year Requirement Review Committee is responsible for reviewing and approving submissions in the education, practice, and research categories of the ABII 10-Year Requirements.
The ABII Board of Trustees appoints members to this committee for a three-year term, beginning on January 1 and running through December 31. Appointees are eligible to serve for two consecutive three-year terms.
Committee appointees must sign a committee agreement, and annually complete a conflict of interest and disclosure form.
Committee members must maintain active CIIP certification for the duration of their appointment.

Reviews are completed through ABII's secure online 10-Year Requirements review system. Your employer's network and firewall settings may not allow you access to this system, so reviews may need to be completed on a computer outside your employer's network and firewall.
The CIIP Examination Committee is responsible for developing and overseeing the IIP certification examination, including writing items for the exam.
The ABII Board of Trustees appoints members to this committee for a three-year term, beginning on January 1 and running through December 31. Appointees are eligible to serve for two consecutive three-year terms.
Committee appointees must sign a committee agreement, and annually complete an item writer agreement and a conflict of interest and disclosure form.
Committee members must maintain active certification as a CIIP for the duration of appointment.
ABII committee member volunteers shouldn't participate in or author materials for a registry exam review committee. Volunteers must disclose their involvement in these activities to ABII and may only participate in a manner that does not compromise any protected ABII exam materials. Failure to disclose participation in registry exam review committee activities may result in removal from the CIIP Examination Committee.

The Continuing Education (CE) Committee is responsible for reviewing CE submissions and selecting records for audit.
The ABII Board of Trustees appoints members to this committee for a three-year term, beginning on January 1 and running through December 31. Appointees are eligible to serve for two consecutive three-year terms.
Committee appointees must sign a committee agreement, and annually complete a conflict of interest and disclosure form.
Committee members must maintain active CIIP certification for the duration of their appointment.

ABII Item Writers are responsible for writing test questions for the ABII certification examination.
The ABII Board of Trustees appoints item writers for a one-year term, beginning on January 1 and running through December 31. Appointees are eligible for re-appointment as long as they continue to submit new items annually.
ABII Item writers must sign an item writer agreement, and annually complete a conflict of interest and disclosure form.
ABII Item writers are required to complete the online ABII Item Writer Workshop before they are granted access to submit items for the ABII Examination.
ABII Item writers must maintain active CIIP certification for the duration of their appointment.
ABII Item writers shouldn't participate in or author materials for a registry exam review committee. Item Writers must disclose their involvement in these activities to ABII and may only participate in a manner that does not compromise any protected ABII exam materials. Failure to disclose participation in registry exam review committee activities may result in discontinuation of their appointment as an ABII Item Writer.

ABII occasionally has ad hoc volunteer opportunities to explore new opportunities for the organization.
The ABII Board of Trustees appoints members to task forces for an amount of time that the Board determines as appropriate for the task to be completed.
Task Force appointees must sign a task force agreement and a conflict of interest and disclosure form.
The specific responsibilities and time commitment of volunteers for task forces are dependent upon the task to be completed.
